We do not claim our resins to be food safe. There is no authority in Australia that certifies food safety for epoxy resin. Some products in the US claims to be food safe and approved by FDA, however it is under the condition when there is no added colour pigments or additives, fully cured and mixed with the correct mixing ratio.
Product is made in Australia hence cannot be certified by American body FDA.
If you are running a small river channel in a board, decorating a small section or handle of a resin cheeseboard,or there is incidental contact from cold food, it is still safe.
Doesn't matter what brands claim their product to be" food safe" or " non toxic", epoxy resin is essentially made from chemicals and should be treated with cautions.
